The Alcon Pro-System front brake kit is a true motorsport upgrade for the BMW F8X platform, delivering significantly higher thermal capacity, repeatable performance and confidence under heavy braking. Built around 6 piston forged aluminum calipers and 380 x 36 mm two piece floating rotors, this package is derived from the same engineering Alcon uses in top level professional racing, then adapted for F8X M2, M3 and M4 track and performance street use.

Alcon and Pro-System design, test and manufacture these components in house, combining UK motorsport heritage with US based machining, dyno testing and bedding. The result is a complete, balanced system that bolts to the factory knuckles, works with the stock master cylinder and ABS, and gives you consistent pedal feel session after session.

Alcon Pro-System Rotor and Hat Technology

Every Pro-System rotor starts as a high carbon grey iron casting that is machined, assembled and dyno bedded at Pro-System’s facility. This material and process combination is chosen for its ability to stay stable at high temperature, maintain friction and move heat out of the disc efficiently.

• 380 x 36 mm two piece floating rotors with aluminum hats reduce unsprung weight and allow the disc to expand without warping
• Rotors use a directional vane design that pulls air through the disc and helps the system run significantly cooler than typical OE rotors under track conditions
• Slotted friction faces continuously refresh the pad surface, help evacuate gases and improve consistency in wet conditions compared to plain discs
• Aluminum hats and brackets are precision machined and anodized for strength, corrosion resistance and long term serviceability
• Rotors and pads are dyno bedded before shipping, so you spend your track time driving rather than performing extended bed in cycles

Forged 6 Piston Alcon Calipers

The heart of the kit is a pair of Alcon forged aluminum 6 piston calipers derived from top level professional racing. The caliper body is optimized for stiffness and low weight, while internal piston sizing is matched to the OEM hydraulic system so pedal travel and ABS performance remain familiar.

• Six piston layout with staggered piston diameters to reduce pad taper and maintain even pressure across the pad

Caliper Finish Options

This kit is available with your choice of hard anodized or electroless nickel plated (ENP) caliper finishes. The anodized option offers a classic motorsport look with excellent durability, while the ENP finish adds an extra layer of corrosion resistance and a distinctive metallic appearance that is easy to keep clean.
