Titanium X-pipe cat back for a lighter, sharper sounding 600LT

The factory rear exhaust on the McLaren 600LT does a good job of keeping volume under control, but it carries more weight and restriction than it needs to. Unobtanium’s titanium cat back X-pipe exhaust replaces the OEM muffler assembly with a carefully designed 3.0 inch titanium X-pipe, cutting a substantial amount of mass from the back of the car and giving the twin turbo V8 a cleaner path to breathe.

Each system is built from lightweight titanium tubing with smooth mandrel bends and Unobtanium’s signature crossover layout. CNC machined flanges, proper hangers and connections allow the exhaust to bolt up to the factory locations as well as Unobtanium’s own high flow downpipes, so you get a precise fit without fabrication. Compared to the stock rear section, this X-pipe weighs roughly half as much, helping the car feel a bit more eager to change direction while also reducing heat soak around the rear of the car.

On throttle, the system brings out a more focused, higher pitched tone that suits the 600LT’s character without resorting to an unrefined straight pipe setup. The X-pipe balances pulses from each bank, which helps keep the note smooth at cruise and much more alive when you roll into boost. Paired with stock downpipes or Unobtanium’s high flow options, it is an excellent foundation for a build that wants more sound, response and individuality from the car.
